How to make the electromagnetic lock

Electromagnetic locks with success replace usual for the reason that allow not to carry with themselves keys - to remember a code enough. As room they cannot be used, but it is possible to apply to protection of irresponsible auxiliary rooms.

Get the special lock with the solenoid. They are issued calculated on various tension. Also one of them are intended for food by a direct current, others - to variables.

For check of the solenoid give on it tension with the parameters corresponding passport. Do not give constant tension on the solenoid intended for food to variables at all. It has to work every time surely. Do not concern conclusions of details even in case the solenoid low-voltage as at its shutdown splash in tension of a self-induction is developed.

Get or make the power unit developing tension with necessary parameters. Place it in the protected room. Use it together with the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) which arrange in the same place.

Put the lock with the solenoid on a door. In the door drill ten openings. Insert toggle-switches with the switching contacts into them. From a reverse side close them a plastic cover.

If the solenoid of a direct current, the zashuntiruyt its diode 1N4007 included in the return polarity is used. Further never change polarity of inclusion of this design.

Connect toggle-switches as follows. At each of those switches which have to be included during input of a code, the switching contact corresponding to the top situation, connect to average contact of the following. At each of toggle-switches which during input of a code have to be in the switched-off state, connect that contact which corresponds to the lower situation to average contact of the following. Now if at least one toggle-switch is in the wrong situation, current through a chain will not go. At ten toggle-switches the number of combinations of a code can make 1024. Periodically change them, differently on levers of those toggle-switches which use often, there will be traces on which they can be distinguished from the others.

Turn on consistently the solenoid, a chain of toggle-switches and the zvonkovy button installed before a door. Connect this chain to the power unit (if the solenoid of a direct current is used - observing polarity). Carefully isolate all connections.

For input of a code install all toggle-switches in the correct situation, and then press the zvonkovy button. Open a door, release the button, and then install all toggle-switches in the switched-off situation.
