How to make a plastic form

Plastic was included so strongly into everyday life that, perhaps, today is used absolutely in all spheres of production. Thanks to the unique properties, it forms a basis for production of other products, and also independent object of production. For example, PVC forms allow to cast geometrical figures of a given size and a view from liquid synthetic and natural materials.

For the production purposes make a plastic form method of vacuum molding. Make a matrix of the necessary size of a tree or clay. If plan to cast a large number of plastic forms, use the metal which is cut out on a mill for a matrix.

Polish a matrix and make corners and ledges which will allow further to take off a uniform. On all surface make openings in order that air could leave freely and did not inflate plasticity.

Warm the sheet of plastic by means of powerful lamps. Do not use an open flame! Check elasticity a contact, the leaf has to keep your print.

Start the thermomolding machine. Oil a matrix and throw with the warmed leaf. The press "will round" a leaf on a matrix by means of vacuum and the fan which will cool plastic will be started.

Take off the received uniform as soon as it completely cools down and will gain characteristic rigidity. If necessary put prikatny drawing or use a thermofilm.

In such a way you can make blisterny packings, forms for outflow, forms for rubber products and multicomponent structures (for example, for production of paving slabs). You can form products from plastic no more than 10 mm thick. Thicker designs will require additional processing of internal part of a form by a mill.

In house conditions to work with the melted plastic extremely it is not desirable but if you were solved, surely use respirators and protective masks. It is possible to use sheets of plastic no more than 3 mm thick, differently you simply will not warm up them and will break.

Warm sheets on hot sheets of iron or on the furnace laid by nonwoven fabric. For giving of a form and a vygonka of bubbles, roll on a matrix of plasticity by means of rigid rollers. Work in gloves and aprons.
